Welcome to the Senior Women’s Squad.

We are a competitive squad, all with the mutual goal of representing the club at all levels, trying to put Stourport Boat club on the rowing map!
We have 20 women in the squad currently, and are an ever growing section of the club.
We all love what Stourport Boat Club offers, and we have an amazing club spirit on and off the water.

You may have rowed before at school or college some years ago and want to start up again or perhaps you would like to return to rowing after a break. Some of our members have taken it up again after a 20 year absence!

You may already be an accomplished rower in which case Email us and tell us about your experience and we will arrange for a suitable outing for you.

Our members have a wide range of rowing experience from novice to elite.

The Senior Women range from 18-35yrs whilst the Masters Women’s rowing section caters for the more senior veteran women from 36 years up to all ages.

Masters rowing has experienced a rapid growth over the past decade and the club can boast victories at all levels from Novice to National competitions.

During the summer months we train on the river weekday evenings from 6pm and Saturday and Sunday mornings from 8am.

Our Women’s Squad train all year round with the ultimate goal of competing at Women’s Henley Regatta.

We are a competitive, friendly squad who aim to work to the best of our ability to achieve the best possible results for the club. 

The Women’s squad have regular coaching and follow a structured training plan. 

Everyone who wishes to train and race are placed in crews of similar ability and commitment.
